Hamilton Township covers an area of 63.19 square miles (163.7 km²); of this, 0.52 square miles (1.3 km²) or 0.82 percent is water. Lakes in this township include Docs Lake. The streams of Buck Branch, Cooley Creek, East Fork White Creek and Indian Creek run through this township.
